In about 30 days our family is going to have a "New Member".....
I found this cute "pattern" for a wall hanging and took a photo from a magazine. Yes, sitting in a doctors waiting room, a craft book was among the reading material on an end table...Don't you just love it when you find such things....
As you can see I made a few changes, not knowing at the time "Boy or Girl"? Then when I found out I had to add the "Soccer Ball
"... "Dad loves Soccer"!Moey and her husband have not come up with a name for the baby, or at least their not telling anyone yet, so it's unfinished.. I'll have to put it away for another few weeks.. but I wanted to share it with everyone because I'm really excited to have another baby in the family, and this baby is from my sweet niece "Moey"......

"Cross Stitch
" is one of my favorite forms of crafting.. it takes time and 'good eyes' but I love to do it! Makes me sit still and calms me....I'm thinking of making this into a "Wall Hanging".. but then a "Little Pillow
" would also be nice for the baby's room?? Hope the new baby's name is not too long... Once I get the babies name and birth date stitched , "I'll know" which way to go!

Your cross stitch is beautiful. I love to cross stitch also but have been doing some embroidery lately. I have a couple of cross-stitch projects in the process but have to work on them when the light is good lately. Your niece will love your gift.
This is so cute! I haven't cross stitched in year. In fact I still have my youngest son's baby wall hanging undone. He is 16 now! I know thats bad. I don't think he'd like the little bunnies anymore.

Congratulations on the newest member of the family! My new great niece is such a joy to me. I don't have any grandchildren yet so my sister let's me help with the granny duties! That little cross stitch is adorable!

Wow, you are one fast stitcher! I love cross stitch too, but my eyes gave out; I need better bifocals (or is it trifocals?) That is a beautiful keepsake for the new little one!

Hey Sandy, I just LOVE your cross-stich, When I first saw it, I thought where could she have gotten such pretty prints and when I read the whole post about making out of just seeing a picture at the Doc's, I just went, WOW!! That's unbelievably gorgeous!! Congrats on the new member in your family!!
