My Mom was a forward thinker... she did this needlework, and always had it hanging in her home... stitched in 1981...funny thing, it was always hanging in her bathroom.. what better place to celebrate "Nature"
I would like to show it in honor of "Earth Day"...
This wall hanging has had the place of honor in my home since moms death in 1998....
Thank you "Mom" for teaching me the ways of the Earth, and the ways to make her happy!
Happy Earth Day!

I think that is a wonderful tribute to your mother. Mom's have so much influence on their view of nature for their children. Obviously your mother was a special lady!
What a beautiful reminder of your mother! Hope you're having a good week...
If you haven't heard all about the DIY Club, you need to head to my blog and read all about it, see all the gifts and find out how to enter. You won't want to miss out.
I have the button on my side bar. Would you help us spread the word and put it on your side bar?

Sandy,
Your mother’s pretty needlework is truly a treasure! She sounds like an interesting lady and I’m sure you miss her. I’m interested in learning more about her “forward thinking” she sounds intriguing. I hope you share more about her in future posts.
