Christmas is coming

Tomorrow is December 1st... time to get ready for the Christmas Season.

I've finished my shopping.
Packages in the mail.
Put up the house lights today.
Posted a new blog header.

I took some Christmas wrap and put it on the wall for the background.
Nothing I did could get the light glare off the wall, (it's from my dining
room chandelier) the best spot in the house with a bright light.

After taking several photos, each with an assortment of Christmas decorations saved  from years past, I decided less is more... I did get a Christmas card with a Snoopie dog.  I cut away the greeting leaving just Snoopie playing the piano.
My thoughts were "Snoopie looking up at the tree", might add a bit of fun
What was funny, over the years I saw Snoopie everywhere at Christmas time but because I needed one.. took me 4 stores to find the card with the perfect image.

My family will be scattered around the world for Christmas and it's just me and the man for the holiday so I decided to forgo putting up the large tree this year.. I did decorate the house, both inside and out.
My sister felt bad for me not having a tree,, I said to her "I want a Charley Brown tree"...
She bought me one and it will grace my coffee table this year.

ok everyone, I'm ready for the Holidays!
Let the games begin!

It's adorable! I love it. Snoopy was always a hit in our house.

What an adorable header. Snoopy is just the right touch. I am jealous you are so ahead of the game...packages wrapped and mailed...wow!

Sandy,
It's so great to visit again! I'm glad you're on the mend and back into the swing of life. We love Snoppy at our house also. Love your cute header.
Heather is in the hospital, but today we will get a better idea when she can come home. She had a biopsy yesterday to test for rejection and everything depends on the results. She is getting stronger and things are looking very good.
Also I combined my two Facebook's and I'm listed as Cathy Erickson.
I'm looking forward to getting back to regular life one of these days (whatever that is!)
Hugs, Cathy

I personally love this little tree! The Peanuts are a favorite around here.

I love Charlie Brown trees. I haven't decided whether or not I'll put up our tree. It will be just Grampy and I this year and he doesn't care one way or the other. Your new header looks so pretty. Glad you're continuing to heal. You're in my daily prayers.

I'm so happy to hear you're doing well! Love the little tree, now that's one I could handle decorating and it takes up so little room. Your header is adorable, with Snoopy gazing up at the tree.

You are so far ahead of me with your Christmas preparations, all I have up is the outside stuff. The house itself is in shambles. I love to visit your blog where things are so organized and beautiful!
